The waffles, also called waffles, are famous breakfast waffles cooked on double hot plates that give them the characteristic appearance embossed, namely a grate. I must say that when they gave me the special waffle plate I could not resist the temptation and I prepared them immediately. Do them even faster with the thermomix. If you don't have a waffle iron, you can cook the batter in a non-stick pan, but at that point, I recommend you opt for pancakes.
How to make waffles with the thermomix
Separate the yolks from the whites and whip them in the bowl with the butterfly together with a pinch of salt for 2-3 min. at 37 °, vel. 4, then set them aside.
Put the butter in the jug and let it melt at 50 ° for 45 sec., Speed. 1, then set it aside.
Pour the egg yolks and sugar into the mixing bowl and whisk for 4-5 min. 3.
Also add the now warm butter and mix for 45 sec., Vel. 2.
Add vanilla and milk and work again for 30 sec., Vel. 2.
With the blades running, add the sieved stone marten a little at a time, working for 1 min. and 30 sec., vel. 2.
Finally add the whites and mix gently with a spatula.
Heat the waffle iron and let it melt a knob of butter.
Pour a few tablespoons of dough on the plate, in sufficient quantity of batter to create a thick and uniform layer.
Close the plate and cook. It took me 5 minutes, but you observe the times shown on the instructions of your plate.
Once golden, gently remove, set aside and proceed with the next pods.
Serve immediately, garnished with Nutella, fruit, maple syrup, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or whatever you prefer.
